The Traceability Institute is envisioned as a non-profit corporation that licenses the use of the C Minus Standard Certification Mark so consumers can easily identify healthy products that are also good for the environment, and that meet at least one of our two standards:
A product made in a factory certified to comply with the Goals of the Paris Agreement. As Elon Musk said, “Climate Change is Real” and “ meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement are good for America and the world”.
A product that tests free of any natural or synthetic chemical known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm, as per the California Proposition 65 List. While we’re at it, let’s reduce cancer-related disease!
Why is the best standard Carbon Negative, not Carbon Neutral? Because for life on Earth to thrive, we must reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide levels from 423ppm to 350ppm or less. That means we must remove the excess Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere through Sequestration.
